The American Health Care Act, the Republican bill to “replace” Obamacare, passed (like, the “died” version) on Friday, March 24th, 2017.
In the wake of its little life, however, ACHA shed light on the incompetence of the very party who hatched it, as well as their collective disregard for constituent quality of life and cold-blooded indifference to preventable human suffering.
ACHA’s very existence — may it rest in a painful peace — revealed the real threat being posed to the existing incarnation of America’s health care system.
And so, let ACHA’s brief, mercifuless time on here on earth invigorate our vigilance and opposition to that for which is almost stood.
Alas, as we search through the rubble and ash of its little legacy, may ACHA’s passing (again, euphemism version) remind us of the menace we face, the threat we fight.
